Celebrate World Tourism Day with AccessAble

hi everyone Emma Purcell here access
AccessAble Champion for Hampshire on Friday the 27th of September it is World
Tourism day and to honour the occasion I have decided to try out a tourist
attraction access guide from the AccessAble App… So I’m going to open up the App
and select tourist attractions and here it’s a list of all the local tourist
attractions in my area I’m gonna scroll down and click on Mill Fields Nature
Reserve and click on introduction the introduction says there are no fixed
opening times at the Nature Reserve I’m now selecting location which gives
information about where the venue is and the local transport links now going to
select parking which gives information about the nearest car parks to the venue from what I’ve read of the guide the
venue looks fairly accessible so let’s go check it out also please note that
due to my visual impairment you will see tips of my camera Linda and my mom Carol
helping me drive around the Nature Reserve a panning shot of fields and
trees at the Nature Reserve I’ve selected outside access on the app
and it tells you that there is a mixture of gated and stair entrances there is
also one gated area which is 80 centimeters wide and this is a shot of
my mum trying to help me drive through the gated area on the Access Guide I’ve selected Nature
Reserve where it says there are number of pathways and grass areas to walk
through and there is a playground also nearby a panning shot of the playground
montage footage of me and my dog Sasha walking through the fields and
pathways so we’re back home now after a wonderful
time at mill fields Nature Reserve I hope you’ve enjoyed watching this and it
has inspired you to maybe try out a tourist attraction guide in your local
area speak soon… Bye!
