to say grace. The blessing! I pledge allegiance
to the flag Of the United States
of america And to the republic
for which it stands– One nation, under
god, indivisible, With liberty
and justice for all. Amen. Amen.
Amen. Catherine,
if this turkey Tastes half as good
as it looks, I think we’re all in

  1. It's unbelievable that William Hickey was only 69 when he died in 97'.  He's looked like he's been at least 100 years old forever, and this was 1989.

  2. I swear on the VHS version there's a scene where Catherine is figuring out whether to cook the turkey at 200 for 350 minutes or 350 for 200 minutes (something like that). Can't find it anywhere tho!

  3. THE BLESSING……..i pledge allegiance to flag, of the……..for all, amen…….BRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH…..I TOLD YOU WE PUT IT IN TOO EARLY

  4. At 1:48. If my family dinner got ruined, I'd tell everybody, "Well, people. There goes the turkey. Honey, I'm going to McDonald's. Get me a pen and paper so I can write down what everybody wants." LOL.

  5. First the pledge and now the turkey, what a Christmas that was. X3 I'm glad i saw this movie, but does the turkey literally come out like that if overcooked irl?

  6. Oh, my gosh! Aunt Bethany had me laughing at "I pledge allegiance to the flag." I laugh up until they say Amen and even after that when the turkey falls apart.

  7. STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED STAGED

  8. We spent Christmas with my family at Breckenridge. This is where the movie was filmed. Check out our vacation video

  9. The part where they're actually eating the turkey and dipping it into their water glasses lmao..that and the 2nd puff of smoke after he cuts it open get me every time

  10. Fun fact. The girl who played Audrey(Juliette Lewis) real life father Geoffrey Lewis(rip) starred alongside Beverly D Angelo(Ellen) in the rare Clint Eastwood comedy "Every which way but loose"

  11. The guy who played Uncle Lewis was only 62 years old when this film was made. I always thought he was just super old.

  12. I’m fine with the pledge of allegiance being grace at my dinner. It’s the best “grace” to ever be written.
