  1. How come the USA can no longer take responsibility for American prisons? I bet the Chinese prisons shown here do not belong to private corporations. And they can even afford to put up a show for journalists.
Every country needs a system to herd their citizens, given the great diversity of human nature. However, in the USA, the objective is not to mold people following government ideals but to enrich corporations and their shareholders.

  2. FRANKLY SPEAKING, TO CHANGE FROM A BULLY/TERRORIST  TO A HUMBLE PERSON, IS NOT EASY EG. LIKE TURNING OVER A PAGE OF THE BOOK. USA AND WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE IGNORANT OF THE GOOD CCP DEEDS, SAVING THE PEOPLE WHO WERE LEAD ASTRAY TO A BETTER LIFE. YOU ALL HAVE PEOPLE KILLING PEOPLE EVERYDAY, YOU ONLY TRY TO CATCH THE CRIMINALS WHEN THEY HAVE COMMITED A CRIME/MURDER, AND NOT STOPP[ING THEM BEFORE THEY COMMIT A CRIME. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

  3. Well they should take lessons from bourgeoisie 🙂 Capitalists have learned how to brainwash the masses through education, media and market a long time ago and much more cunningly and subtly 😉 In China people know they are not free. But here we 'think' we are free 😉 – sigh –

  4. QURAN STATED. JESUS CHRIST IN HIS SECONG COMING WILL JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD, JESUS HAS THE FINAL SAY, WHO GOES TO HEAVEN AND WHO GOES TO HELL. JESUS SAY, HE IS THE WAY , THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NOBODY CAN CAME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM. MUSLIMS SHOULD ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOUR TO HAVE SALVATION OF THEIR SOULS.

  5. 2:45 this place looks exactly like my high school, tbh most of Chinese high /vocational schools look like this, btw im han, i didnt get that treatment as a punishment

  6. A sign of civilizations is to accept that other countries are not obliged to have the same culture as mine and most importantly not to judge other cultures and traditions ….. don't meddle

  7. China should just leave this region and tibet alone. In sure all they care about there are raw materials of some sort or just keeping land in general. I find it hard to believe that all these people are extremists. Those 2 regions are culturally and ethnically distinct from china and should be given autonomy.

  8. This is what the Globalists, the Tech Giant CEO's, and the Democrats want to see happen in the US, so if the day ever comes that they have taken our guns, they could round us all up and put us in these Orwellian re-education camps

  9. Pros: these schools/camps are eliminating religious extremism from its root — unskilled people who trapped in poverty are learning working skills to make money, they may have a relatively better future for themselves to take care of instead of being mujahedin.
Cons: freedom/human right and etc., but facing the incoming terrorist war (think about what the ISIS and other terrorist groups did)… the Chinese government made their decision…

  10. I was so ashamed when I heard China was keeping people prisoners for expressing free thought. So I asked relatives what was going on and they told me they wouldn't send them to these Study Camps unless they really did commit something terrible like murder. Apparently a lot of Chinese tourists that visit Xinjiang are murdered through beheading, verbally assaulted etc but I am not entirely sure what's really going on. I'd love to see a more thorough investigation on this!

  11. well, to me, those schools or education campuses are quite qualified places for those people to gain professional skills, you have to know that, in modern society, religion as a belief, should not be the only thing in a person's life. and as we observed that, more or less, there are some violent "things" in almost every religion, therefore, some kind of restrictions should be imposed to regulate the followers' behaviors once they are posing threat on other groups or out of control. The courses offered, as I noticed on the video, provide means to impart knowledge related to laws, national identity, cultural divergence and so on, this is a quite good, proper and efficient way to close the ethnic gap between people in Xinjiang and the rest of China. And you have to know that, all these kind of resources and facilities are government-funded, which means that, there will be no financial burden for each of the candidates on the campus. Just ask once those students finished their course and graduated from these schools with one or several professional skills, what the benefit these people would bring to their region as well as entire China. More communication, more competition, and more inclusiveness, these would be the answers. Just remember one thing, religion is essential, but not the entire world.

  12. 2:34 [on screen]
    I love Hotan.
I love the Five-starred Red Flag which waves in the blue sky.
I love the Five-starred Red Flag which waves up high in the sky.
I love the Five-starred Red Flag
I love the Communist Party of China.
I love Tiananmen square in Beijing.

  13. This is nothing new in China and not related to muslim or uyghur. This kind of staff existing since the foundation of People's Republic of China , countless people confined in larbour camp like this before 1980, students in middle school and univerisity are still taught to love communist party and President Xijinping like this today. Lots of western media like BBC always make people think that this is something about minority people been persecuted by communist. In fact the communist party is the minority with 80 million people while China have 1.3 billion people.

  14. At 5'36 the BBC interviewer tells only half-truths or even lied about her getting detention "just for having What's App on her phone".
What we need to know is what was on the app, was it something that promotes political unrest or acts of terrorism or other unlawful act? I don't believe that having "What's App" is the problem here, so BBC is trying to insinuate that China as something evil when the evil deed is in his heart.
