Woah! Today we’re checking out the new slides at Knott’s Soak City. Orange County’s largest waterpark has added 7 new slides in a 2 acre expansion. Hey Brother, did you remember to bring your ticket? The mayor is presenting Snoopy with an award. And they are cutting the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening. C’mon, let’s go check out the new slides. First stop, Shore Break. This structure towers over seven stories and offers six different thrilling water slide experiences. We are going on the tube slides that zip through a series of drops and turns. I’m going to ride a double tube with my dad. [Dad] Woooooaaaaahhhhhh!!!!! Seriously, Dad? Did you have to scream like that? Now my dad is going to climb inside an Aqua-Launch chamber where the floor will drop out from underneath his feet, sending him into a high-speed, almost vertical free fall. [Dad Woooooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!! That sure looks scary, Dad. Next is The Wedge, an open air family raft ride. Now it’s time for Gremmie Lagoon. Brother’s going on the scariest slide ever. We’re going inside the yellow submarine. I’m going down the slide with Brother. Next is the octopus slide. Brother’s going solo. Now we’re going on Sunset River, a lazy river that is one-third mile in length. Brother, don’t go too far ahead. Help! I’m sinking! We’re going to have lunch at the remodeled Longboard’s Grill. We’ll take some fish and chips and cheeseburger. Lastly, we’re going to play at Tidal Wave Bay. This is a 750,000-gallon pool with waves that turn on and off.
