Star Trek (2009) Official Trailer – Chris Pine, Eric Bana, Zoe Saldana Movie HD

I couldn’t believe it when the bartender told me who you are. Why are you talking to me, man? Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives. Including yours. I dare you to do better. Enlist in Starfleet. You will experience fear. Fear in the face of certain death. Pull your ‘chute! Now now now now! We received a distress call I’ve been waiting for this day my whole life. This day of reckoning. We’ve got no Captain and no First Officer to replace him. Yeah, we do. You are capable of deciding your own destiny. The question is: Which path will you chose? James T. Kirk was a great man. But that was another life. They are locking torpedoes. Emergency evasive! Fire everything!

  1. Amazing trailer amazing music amazing movie…. they should have kept to that…. i hope the 4th goes back to this

  2. This is probably one of the best Star Trek trailers I have ever seen. Just stumbled on it again by accident and forgot how good it was. No wonder so many people went to see the movie! Wish I would have seen this trailer in the cinema!

  3. Great trailer.  Too bad the movie didn't match it.  The way Spock looked at Kirk made me look forward to two young fresh minds handling the subject matter, but the flow and resolution was quite different from what I was hoping to see, which the trailer got me psyched up for.

  4. I saw the movie years ago, but I just got around to seeing the trailer. I legit think that this is the best trailer of all time.

  5. Best recruitment video for a fictional exploratory organisation the universe has ever seen.. I still get chills &remember the chills &feeling of wonder awe &sadness it gave me when I first saw it

  6. This is the moment when Star Trek started to stand for something else. Not Optimism, Curiosity and Union, but War, Death and Darkness. This is the moment when Star Trek died.

  7. As a newcomer to Star Trek I will watch the movies once I finish watching the 90's tv series….only halfway through season 3

  8. http://www.bitlordsearch.com/search?q=Star%20trek%202009 /// This is not spam
Its a link to Bitlord Torrents , You can download or you can stream it 100% for free and nothing to enter info into ….don't say I never give ya anything …cheers dears and good years

  9. You know that a trailer's good when you're like, "Wow! I wanna see that in theater's right…" and you look at the DVD case two feet away from you. "Oh… Meh. Close enough."

  10. Starwars amazing ,superb

Star Trek 2009 whole different level (I will be watching the next two reboot films into darkness and beyond soon )

Just watched this ,my god as a space movie fanatic and a huge star wars fan I can clearly say star trek took it this time god damn

  11. "Your father was captain of a starship for 12 minutes. He saved 800 lives. Including yours. I dare you to do better. Enlist in Star Fleet"

  12. The script for this film was excellent! Meaningful words spoken. The same cannot be said for the next two.

  13. Star trek is one of my favorite movie its was debut on may 8 2009 nine years ago on may 7 was my girlfriend birthday Monica anderson now nine years later

  14. Check out my new version of this trailer with the original cast on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5X-EDqhoKc

  15. It’s 2018.
“Your father was the captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives… including yours. I dare you to do better.”

  16. "James T. Kirk was a great man…but that was another life". So many great lines! Star Trek (2009) was a masterpiece, among the very best of Trek.

  17. Nine years later : still one of the best trailers. The fact that the movie was meh makes it a tad bittersweet, mais in itself, it's very entertaining.

  18. Great trailer, ok movie. I hate when a trailer really gets me pumped for a movie and the movie is just ok. It matters.

  19. John W was not there. "Doug" was. Doug is a commie type. A lot of screaming and argument. Maurine is insulted. Vi was not around. Mick thought he could do anything.

  20. Now all we need is a Guardians Of The Galaxy-style reboot of Star Trek The Motion Picture with Sha Ka Ree in it.

  21. One of the greatest trailer ever made! I am still coming back to this a decade later! It was 2009 when I first seen it and now in 2019 I am still viewing for the epicness! This even beats the Inception trailer which was also very good.

  22. "I couldn't believe it when the bar tender told me who you are." "Why are you talkin' to me man?" "Your father was captain of the starship for twelve minutes … he saved eight hundred lives … including yours … I DARE you to do better … enlist in starfleet." That is one of the best inspirational speeches in a film. LOVE IT. Of course freedom fighters by two steps from hell makes those EPIC lines.

  23. Still the BEST movie in the Kelvin timeline. Almost 10 years later and I'm still getting chills watching the trailer.

  24. Show this trailer to literally anyone skeptical of the 2009 reboot (we're just not going to mention Into Darkness and Beyond) and make them tell you it isn't epic.

  25. Am I the only one who remember one of these trailers had "Contractor" by Lamb of God?…Maybe i'm tripping???

  26. This is how JJ Abrams started this age of atrocious reboots against classic films and television shows.

  27. I recently developed a curiosity for star trek are these movies good? And do they carry on the legacy of the old show?

  28. It was from the Iron Man blu-ray that made me buy THIS movie on blu-ray without having ever watched anything related to Star Trek. That, my friends, is the power of a great trailer. That and Zoe Saldana

  29. Chris Pine has very brilliant blue eyes as did my very own father and I miss him everyday. The best boys make the best Trekies and to me they will always have the most sparkling blue eyes like those of the stars. 💙

  30. Oooh… Where, or where have the quality movies gone? All they are craking out today are politically correct, feel good flicks which I have ZERO interest in! Give me something good!

  31. I remember watching this trailer and thinking wow this looks great but what solidified me watching it was FIRE EVERYTHING!!!!

  32. It's a pity it got released on May the 8th and not May the 4th, because with J.J Abrams as director it would both have been super meta and incredibly funny.
